The Prepared Adult and our Cosmic Task
A Montessori Guide Renewal Retreat
Available spots
Service Description
In Montessori, we often speak about the child’s Cosmic Task, the unique role each human being plays in the unfolding of life and the betterment of the world. Yet before we can guide children toward discovering their purpose, we are invited to reflect on our own. Maria Montessori reminded us that the first preparation of the teacher is the preparation of the spirit. The Prepared Adult & Our Cosmic Task is a reflective and renewing learning experience designed to help educators reconnect with the deeper meaning of their work with children. As the school year progresses and the demands of the classroom intensify, this retreat offers a meaningful pause, an opportunity to recharge, reflect, and realign with the values that brought us to Montessori education in the first place. Through guided reflection, meaningful dialogue, and practical applications, participants will explore the inner work of the Montessori guide and the broader vision of Cosmic Education. Together, we will consider how love, awareness, and intentional preparation allow us to create environments where children can discover their own place within the interconnected web of life. Inspired by Montessori philosophy and the idea that life naturally moves toward cooperation and harmony, this retreat invites educators to nurture the conditions for connection, gratitude, responsibility, and contribution; both within themselves and within their environments. Participants will leave with renewed inspiration, a deeper sense of purpose, and practical ideas for bringing the spirit of Cosmic Education into daily classroom life.
