Date: August 11 - 15, 2025 Modality: In-Person Location: Dearcroft Montessori Trafalgar Crossing Campus (297 Oak Walk Dr, Oakville, ON L6H 3R6) Time: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm (1-hr break between 12:00-1:00) Inversion: $600 CAD Hours: 30 hours Audience: Ideal for educators that hold a Montessori Teaching Diploma for children 2.5-6 years old or have at least 3 years of recent experience working in a Casa Classroom This 5-day, in-person course offers Casa guides the opportunity to reconnect with the Montessori philosophy and revisit the essential areas of the Casa environment through a reflective, hands-on, and inspiring approach. Each day focuses on one major theme, supporting educators in deepening their practice with clarity and purpose. 🗓 Day 1 – Montessori Foundations A return to the heart of the philosophy, exploring the prepared adult, observation, and the environment as key elements of the child’s experience. 🗓 Day 2 – Practical Life A full day dedicated to the roots of independence, coordination, and care of self and others—honoring Practical Life as the foundation for all learning. 🗓 Day 3 – Sensorial Exploring materials that refine the senses, support concentration, and lay the groundwork for abstract thinking and future academic work. 🗓 Day 4 – Language & Math A deep dive into how Montessori nurtures both creative expression and logical thinking, through the carefully sequenced Language and Math materials. 🗓 Day 5 – Science & Culture Ending with wonder and connection, this day brings in Cosmic Education and the richness of cultural studies that awaken the child’s understanding of the world. Please note: A minimum of 8 participants is required for this course to run. In the event the course does not meet the minimum enrollment, all registered participants will receive a full refund of their registration fee.
