Come and join a supportive and engaging learning space where assistants and Early Childhood Educators will deepen their understanding of Montessori philosophy, the prepared environment, child development, and the essential role of the adult in the classroom. Together we will explore the foundations of Montessori education, the role of the assistant, the importance of observation, independence, grace and courtesy, logical consequences, teamwork within the environment, the purpose of the Montessori areas, the developmental needs of the child, human tendencies, the planes of development, and much more. This course is designed to help participants not only understand Montessori principles, but also recognize the powerful impact their presence, awareness, and daily interactions have on the emotional and developmental life of the classroom. Where? 10-week online sessions via Zoom. When? Every Wednesday from August 12, 2026to October 14, 2026 from 7:00pm-9:00pm EST Investment: $550 CAD per person *plus taxes Upon registration participants will receive: - 10 live online 2-hour sessions - Course handouts and reflection activities - Recommended readings and resources - Opportunities for discussion and collaborative learning - A Montessori Assistant Diploma Certificate issued by PAMS upon successful completion *** To run the diploma program, we require a minimum of 8 participants registered.
