Date: Jan 17, 2026 Modality: In-Person Location: Dearcroft Montessori Trafalgar Crossing Campus (297 Oak Walk Dr, Oakville, ON L6H 3R6) Time: 8:30 am – 12:30 pm Investment: $150 CAD Hours: 4 hours Audience: Ideal for early childhood and elementary educators new to Montessori, teaching assistants, school leaders, and anyone curious about adopting a more child-centered approach. Montessori education offers a gentle yet powerful way of seeing and supporting children. In this 4-hour workshop, educators will gain a grounded, accessible introduction to Montessori principles, exploring how independence, respect, and purposeful activity can transform learning environments. Participants will walk away with clarity and practical tools they can begin using immediately—no prior Montessori experience required. By attending this workshop, you will: - Understand the core principles that define authentic Montessori practice. - Learn how to prepare environments that foster independence, concentration, and peaceful collaboration. - Explore simple, actionable strategies to support children with kindness, clarity, and respect. - Reflect on your own role as the prepared adult and how to guide with intention. Please note: A minimum of 5 participants is required for this course to run. If the course does not meet minimum enrollment, all registered participants will receive a full refund.
