Date: Aug 7-8, 2025 Modality: In-Person Location: Dearcroft Montessori Trafalgar Crossing Campus (297 Oak Walk Dr, Oakville, ON L6H 3R6) Time: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm (1-hr break between 12:00-1:00) Inversion: $240 CAD Hours: 12 hours Audience: Perfect for Toddler and Casa guides, assistants, and school leaders ready to support behaviour in ways that align with Montessori’s heart-centered vision. This practical and empowering 2-day workshop is designed for Montessori educators who want to deepen their skills in supporting behaviour with respect, clarity, and compassion. Blending Montessori principles with Positive Discipline tools, this course offers strategies that help educators move from control to connection—building peaceful and purposeful classroom communities. 🗓 Day 1 – Rethinking Behaviour: The Why Beneath the What Shift perspectives on challenging behaviour by exploring children's needs, self-regulation, and the adult's role in modeling calm and curiosity. 🗓 Day 2 – Tools for Real Life in the Classroom Learn and practice concrete Positive Discipline tools—like class meetings, kind & firm language, and natural consequences—adapted for the Montessori setting. Please note: A minimum of 8 participants is required for this course to run. In the event the course does not meet the minimum enrollment, all registered participants will receive a full refund of their registration fee.
